Does anybody has any experience using Neurontin(Gabapentin) to treat Social Phobia and depresion
Also... do you know what happen if I combine Xanax and Neurotin? does this represent a risk of any kind?
I have read it has showed good results in some trials . Does anybody has any feedback or opinion about this?
Thanks !
Tepi

Tep, take maybe half your normal Xanax dose with a small dose (300mg) of gabapentin.
I've done it.
It's no big deal, it's not wonderful, but it is better than Xanax on its own for social phobia.
I don't know how useful it would be for depression.
You'd have to try it and see.

People say that Neurontin takes a while to kick in, but I find it works quickly enough, though not as quickly as Xanax.
It makes you a bit silly/vague if you take too much.

It is similar but different, Tep.
Like a benzo, it works straight away.
Maybe it takes one hour to take effect.
I wonder if it is best on an empty stomach.
This is the end of the thread.
