I have bipolar depression and am on multiple medications, I just switched from Abilify to Seroquel 50 mg and its like I can see the sun again. It happened immediately. Is it possible to have this effect from so low of a dose?

Yes, sometimes a low dose is more effective than a high dose. I am glad it is working for you.

It might as well be the Abilify kicking in, since A. has a long-a s s half-life and will stick around in your blood for a while.

I posted before how great I felt on seroquel 50mg but I knew it was too good to be true. Maybe I shouldn't have stopped Abilify like that. I don't feel depressed but have debilitating fatigue, I can barely go up the stairs. It really sets in when I take my stimulant (vivanse). I took .25 of abilify last night to see if it would help ( I was taking 5mg,,,I felt o.k, till I took the stimulant again. Also have this inner crawling feeling. My pdoc is no help. I don't know what to do, I'm so crushed :(

Hm, that sucks. Why not try 5mg Abilify and see wether that makes a difference? Of course, ideally, in consultation with your doc..

You can get very bad withdrawal effects from neuroleptics. Not sure if that is what happening to you but keep it in mind.
