Cerebrolysin

Anyone heard of using Cerebrolysin for depression and anxiety? It's a drug developed to treat Alzheimer's and dementia. I have read of people experiencing noticeable antidepressant and anti-anxiety effects after taking it. You have to administer it through intramuscular injections every other day. I am pretty sure I will be giving Cerebrolysin a go for a month or so, the potential effects just are too seductive.

Here is a thread on Imminst.org with people speaking of their experiences with Cerebrolysin and some of the research behind it:

I'm also thinking Cerebrolysin would be so good for many of us since many of us have brains that simply are not functioning like they used to.

When people begin discussing manually injecting themselves with medications (with effects evaluated for a total of 6 months) designed for 80-year old, dying brains, _________________.

I think the only scary thing about cerebrolysin is having to do the intramuscular injection. If you or someone else knows what they are doing, there should be no concern over any side effects from the drug. It is a fairly natural approached and has been used with little or no adverse effects.

The drugs most of us have taken here have way more potential to cause side effects or do damage.
