Does anyone take memantine? My pdoc just agreed to prescribe it to me (for prevention of tolerance to adderall, and to help ocd, and I hope to increase my libido decreased from the snri) but told me he doesn't know how to get insurance to authorize it. Does anyone take it and know how their doc got insurance authorization? Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Phillipa and Maxime - Phillipa, I was lucky to have someone close to me who works at well known psych hospital nearby find out from the head of the OCD clinic at Mass general and McLean that they use it all the time (in case you are interested) and was lucky to find out it went through and am starting tonight and will let you know how it goes! It may take awhile, but will keep you posted if you or anyone else is interested for ocd, or any other reasons. (Maxime - I wrote back to Floatingbridge, just waiting to hear back! Thanks!)
