Maxie great that you're back. What's your favorite store sell? What will your duties be any idea? Will you do office work or sell retail? I don't think I'd think of changing meds yet just home give yourself some time to settle down. Do they also have any daycare for your Mum? Love Phillipa

This might be a good idea. I responded best to a combination of Parnate and desipramine many years ago.

>I got a job.
Hi Maxie,
Good news about the job. Having a job won't make you feel better straight away. Once you get into it.....get to know how things work, get to know the staff and customers, establish a role for yourself within the business.....that's when you'll start to feel better.
xx

Thank you. I am not even sure that I can stay at the job. It is costing me so much for gas and I only make minimum wage! I don't know what to do. My paychecks will be eaten up in no time with the amount of gas I have to use. It's 45 minutes each way.

> I am very sorry to hear that Scott. What is your cocktail these days?Nardil 90mg
nortriptyline 150mg
Lamictal 100mg
Abilify 10mg
lithium 600mgI recently increased my lithium dosage from 300mg to 600mg. I have never been on Nardil and lithium together, so I was optimistic at first. Not so much now. I should know within a week if the lithium increase helps.

I'm not sure I can keep the job. I am spending too much on gas. It may not be worth it to keep the job. I will have to see ...

Can you see if the Vocational Rehabilitation services in your area will help you with gas money? It probably wouldn't be for long, but it's worth checking into, it seems to me. In my area (which I realize is not the same country you are in), V.R. has been known to help in that way.Of course, I will add that V.R. did not work out for me. I may try it again some time, though. I did feel sort of worse after the fact, like it just got my hopes up, and then dashed them. So, I guess there is a risk. (And, I'm sorry if I just did the same thing here.) *specially pronounced sore-ee for Canadians :)

Maxie, you have try to find a way to get free counseling and see if you can go two times a week.
Isn't the job going to pay for the gas money at least? I guess you will have to wait for the paychecks and may run out of money to pay for gas before you get them. I'm just thinking, even if you don't really make any money at this job, maybe it will still help you eventually.
Hope you feel better soon, hang in there.

Yes, I will earn enough money to pay for gas. However, I need to look at how much I will be making a month (it will vary from week to week based on the scheduling). If I am earning the same as on Welfare ... well, I am better off staying on Welfare and trying to find a more suitable job.

I dunno Maxie, even if the pay is bad, you could still benefit from the job. You would meet new people, do new things. If you like the shop, you might really enjoy it after a while.

I do a lot of volunteer work so I do interact with people.
I feel so sad right now.
