I have been usually unhappy on most 1st and 2nd line therapies and wondering what do I do if I try Parnate and fail on that? Is being dead the only solution to escape the miseries of depression? I felt agitated on Pristiq (this years so called 'wonder drug') and just about as agitated on a new MAOI Moclobermide. This leads me to believe that Parnate will likely cause the same problems. Is this so? The last drugs I mentioned caused severe agitation and agoraphobia even with loads of benzos added to them. What effect, if any, does Parnate have on anxiety compared to SSRIs like Paxil and Lexapro (they didn't cause agitation at all, just I only felt about 60% remission of symptoms).

If you don't try the Parnate you will never know. And if the Parnate doesn't work, then Nardil will. Plus you can augment both of these meds.
It's time to take a leap of faith!
