brand Wellbutrin vs generic

I just started taking generic Wellbutrin,but I was wondering how much it differs to the brand..and is it worth trying the brand?

The generic does not release at the correct speed. It releases something like 80% of the med in the first 6 hours. FOr those of us sensitive to that, it led to jitters, anxiety, and worse. I couldn't take the generic. I had to have the brand on which I felt calm and energized. If you search the internet, there have been some articles about it I think. Hope that helps.

I take the sr. I started on the brand and switched to generic. There is a very noticable change over. It took me about a month or more to adjust. After I did I found the genric had less side-effects, particulary the ortostatic hypotension. Brand made me almost pass out standing up from sitting. I liked the generic better. If you are on generic and its working good I probably wouldn't try changing.
