My Milnacipran of 2 months had just made me have energy but also have no drive or joy.. Just an estranged from the world hard hearted feeling.. Also a feeling of being totally devoid of enjoying anything.. There were issues which could have increased the depression but Savella 2 months on just had me feel totally emotionally numb and very apathetic. . So on my request a stimulant was added by the doc.. Namely Provigil..
And Savella dose reduced down to 25 from 50.
On day 2 of Provigil i felt mood elevation and general feeling of well being, interacting socially with interest and smiles..after an hour of taking... Further on the good mood was replaced with a constant focus and being involved.. In a while all this got out and i just felt edgy.. Mentally straitjacketed.. Jittery and cut off emotionally.. This was followed by dizziness and feeling like i am in a daze... Which further went on.. I was talkative and confident.. The jittery feeling led on to a panic attack.. 0.5 Ativan. . The anxiety easened.. Felt nice at a dinner.. Sociable and witty .. In a while was pensive and withdrawn. . After this dysphoric.. Depressed and sick...
Milnacipran and Modafinil together... Along with Ativan... Any comments? The spurts of euphoria i felt today seemed promising. . But i wonder how good can Provigil as an anti depressant , tho of course its absolutely off label... And also does Provigil take few days to reach a steady state unlike the Benzos?

I've read providgil is a mild stimulant. Since you take ativan guessing you have a component of anxiety. To the best of my knowledge providgil isn't an ad. Sounds like it might be increasing anxiety? Did you google providgil? Might give more info. Phillipa

You described my experiences with Provigil. I tried it and got very positive effects: Feeling of well being, increased sociability, confidence, then feeling quite ill. (Flu like) My doc told me to stop suddenly. I had a very frightening withdrawl from Provigil, worse than any other drug! Severe depression.. I felt like my brain was damamged. I had difficulty processing the simplest information: For example while driving.. "does a red traffic light mean stop or go?"
