Need to ad a new ad to seroquel - which one ?

Hello people

I take 750 mg of seroquel for my hard to treat depression. My pdoc thinks iam almost in the bi-polar spectrum. The seroquel has lifted my depression but left me with ugly anxiety. we tried abilify but made things way worse,my pdoc thinks we should add a ad to help with the anxiety and residule depresion. He wants to try pristiq but iam realy mixed up on what to try next
got any ideas?

Hi Cee,

I was taking geodon for a time, I had "ugly anxiety" just like you. I've never suffered from anxiety (like that) so I have new appreciation for people with anxiety disorders. It was worse than depression *for me*.

Anyway, doc added Pristiq, 50mg. Side effects were minimal but so were results. I've never responded to ssri's or seratonin type meds though. Didn't reduce my aap(geodon) anxiety at all.

This is just my experience. I hear many people do well on pristiq for depression, not sure about anxiety. Hope that helps. Good luck!
