Hi- I'm curious to hear from people who have used Strattera. Was it helpful for ADD and/or depression? Men: how does it effect libido, erection, etc? I've heard mixed things about it... some say it helps and does not effect sex drive, etc and others say the opposite. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Alx, my experience was not positive. I'm also atypical. I respond well to straight stimulants for add and depression. Strattera add-on decreased cognitive functioning and gave me headaches. That's me.
Are you looking for primarily add treatment?

Thank you for your response. Yes... but I was interested in something for ADD that is non-stimulant as they tend (at normal/high doses) to trigger panic attacks. Also, was interested in something that has been indicated for depression (like an NRI).

Strattera really may work for you. It doesn't have a well-reported success rate--however, it does work for some, and if percentage includes you, that's what matters.
Wellbutrin works for some. I've heard of segeline, too, but that's another class.
Best to you, and maybe someone will post a success story.
Askapatient.com. Have you looked at that site?
