Hi,
I currently take Zyprexa 17.5 mg and ativan as needed.
But I still have a lack of energy during the day, general anxiety, OCD, and mild depression which prevents me from socializing.
I am wondering what I can add to the Zyprexa to give me more energy, less anxiety, less OCD, and more interest in socializing.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have considered Buspar, or Agomelatine, but have not worked up the courage to try either one.
thanks

Given that info, does anyone recommend I try Provigil?
thanks

What exactly do you take Zyprexa for? Is it the only medication you are currently on?

I take it to recover from a psychosis in 2001. I take ativan 0.5 mg also. No other meds. Do you think I should try Wellbutrin SR or Provigil? I would like to reduce my anxiety and OCD, and have more energy during the day.

Was this psychosis part of a bipolar mania?
Do you think your lack of energy is a side effect of Zyprexa? Did it appear only after you began taking it?

I really don't have any suggestions at this time.
The two drugs you mentioned have provided more energy for some people. However, they can also produce anxiety.
Is the OCD you mentioned a formal diagnosis? Is the anxiety part of a diagnosis of GAD? Have you ever tried a SSRI or SNRI?
Lots of questions, I know.

Yeah I'm thinking something along the lines of Zoloft or Prozac(brand name for both makes a difference if you ask me) would be better for you than the two drugs you mentioned.
Memantine has proven to be good for OCD and anxiety for some. It also may improve your cognition if you have any deficits there.
Scott's right, we would need to know more about your history with medications and diagnosis.
What is your psychiatrist suggesting? They should have just as good a suggestion as we would. That is, if they are good.
