I have read that it has a better side effect profile than Requip and also mixes well with Memantine.

I liked it, I'm not sure if it would work well for depression as a standalone
Its much less sedating than most Dopamine Agonists

I liked it too. Nice stuff. Took it for months, certainly. Not much...1 tablet or half a day.

Took it only for a few days but helped my anxiety and anhedonia.

Trivastal = piribedil, yet another unique, subtle and slightly mysterious drug manufactured by French Servier (who also cooked up tianeptine).
I took 50mg XR for a month. The drug is mild, but it sure has antidepressant qualities in my experience. I was taking too many other drugs at the time to give a fair evaluation though. I do think it also has some cognition enhancing qualities.
If I had enough money, I would surely use this drug more, perhaps daily. It's not available on prescription here in Holland.
It seems to be the only non-ergoline D2-agonist that doesn't promote sleep attacks.

Nor here.
It's funny that you say Holland, I thought we were supposed to call it the Netherlands now? At least that's what someone told me :)
Only a proportion of Servier's meds are available in the UK. We have perindopril (Coversyl), indapamide (Natrilix), strontium ranelate (Protelos), gliclazide (Diamicron), ivabradine (Procoralan) and agomelatine (Valdoxan). Servier appear to have had very little success in the US for some reason.

'Holland' is more informal, and slightly patriottic, if such a thing even exists in Holland (we love to hate our country).

Any of those interesting for depression and/or anxiety and/or recreational purposes (except agomelatine, which is being extensively discussed here on this board)?
David Pearce calls Servier 'secretive' and 'privately owned'. Commercial instinct may not be their strongest feature.

I thought that Holland was a particular part of the Netherlands? How come you're all so good at speaking English anyway? I've only been to Amsterdam once, would be fun to go again.
>Any of those interesting for depression and/or anxiety and/or recreational purposes
Nope, not really! Sorry.
>perindopril (Coversyl)
For hypertension and chronic heart failure.
>Indapamide (Natrilix)
For hypertension. Very effective and well tolerated for isolated systolic hypertension in the elderly.
>strontium ranelate (Protelos)
For osteoporosis if bisphosphonates not tolerated.
>gliclazide (Diamicron)
For type II diabetes.
>ivabradine (Procoralan)
For angina if standard drugs not appropriate. Reduces heart rate.

No Ed, Holland = The Netherlands.
The younger generation probably has learnt English watching MTV... Our politicians have horrible accents usually.
Thnx for explaining the other Servier meds! Hope I get high blood pressure and angina soon!! ;)
