I am new to this site. I am an artist (full time) and have been on Luvox now for 5 years. The only time it didn't work for me was when I smoked for 6 months. Apart from that it has never interfered with my creativity. I completed a PhD in art whilst on it.

Hi welcome to babble. I've taken luvox for many years. At first it worked for me then when dose lowered it didn't. Still doesn't but the others don't either. What's your definition of apathy? I also take xanax and valium. What is you dose? Five years is great for an ad to work. Did you take others first? Phillipa

SSRI apathy is not a given. It totally depends on the dose and the underlying biochemical makeup. Some people are probably naturally hyperdopaminergic and SSRIs possibly help ballance this out.

Hello picasso!
Welcome to Psycho-Babble! Thanks for telling us about your experiences with Luvox! I'm glad you're able to be creative. I hope you share more on Babble. It would be neat to have a professional artist here.
