I am trying to get into a DBS trial. I'm worried now though because DBS did not seem to work for this woman.

Hi,

Well it's probably too early to tell yet. I think they have to get the settings and the spot exactly right.

Don't let this deter you as I'm sure there is still time for her to respond.

I have another link to the blog of a man who has had dbs for depression and on there are comments from other people who have had it. I'll post it later on.

Cool, post them here. I was never able to find first-hand accounts from people who actually had DBS done for depression.

If you read all of the comments as well you will see notes from other people who have had dbs for depression as well.

I have a friend here in the UK who is on the DBS trial for depression but as far as I know he has not yet responded very well but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for him. Here is the link to his site.
