Ok - so I've been taking Vyvanse for a while and seem to do ok, as long as I take Klonopin. I am still dealing with social anxiety (add Klonopin during the day - we'll see).
But today was the first day in about 3 weeks that I didn't take Vyvanse and I totally went off the deep end. Crying, screaming, fighting with my husband, felt suicidal. It was just awful. I had a bottle of Depakote, so I took 375mg and 50mg of Pristiq.
The Depakote seemed to calm me down within an hour or so, and even a little better after I ate.
I haven't been taking the Depakote, because sometimes it makes me feel flat. But it looks like I need a mood stabilizer. I also stopped taking the Pristiq several weeks ago because I didn't think it was really helping.
I think skipping the Vyvanse just pushed me over the edge.
I truly believe I am BPII and ADHD (but cannot take Lamictal).
I guess in order to keep taking the Vyvanse, I HAVE to be on a mood stabilizer and maybe an antidepressant.
Would Keppra work as an antidepressant? Would a small dose of Abilify work?
Seroquel makes me irritable -but does help me sleep.
I realize a mood stabilizer is a must, but I don't want to get fat.
Can you take a mood stabilizer, anti-depressant and a stimulant?
