Hello
Can anyone please recommend a good psychiatrist in Manhattan? I just need a general psychiatrist, as opposed to a specialist, since the problem is either depression or bipolar.

Dr Ivan Goldberg. He specializes in bipolar and tx. resistant depression. He is semi-retired. His web site is Dr.Ivans depression central. You can e-mail him or call his office. Info is on his site. He also has a page of other psychiatrist he reccomends, inwhich many are from your area. :)
