LSD - Opens the Mind to unseen forces

Posted by rjlockhart04-08 on March 10, 2010, at 12:48:03

I was watching something on the national geographic...or maybe it was the explorer channel. They gave a documentery on LSD, and how it effected the population, even before it was a "controlled substance". They used it in psychiatric wards to make patients psychotic, then admister proper medication but it didnt work all the way because LSD increases serotonin levels in some areas of the brain that antipsychotics don't reach.

People gave testimonies about how we see the world as it is, in everyday life, then when LSD is taken, it's like data processing, we process what we see, and it's a stable amount of information the brain processes. When LSD is taken, more data is given and you see the unseen forces that are there, some people have said it made their life better, but they look like their a little "off". And at times it's too much information to process and it causes usally schizophrenia like behavior even after just taking one drop. It like stays in your spine and....anyway's that's enought to put.

I've been researching this...because I want to see the real world, behind the average thing we see in everyday life.

Anyways, i may regret posting this. BUT it's just for infomation purposes.

I wouldn't mess with it under any circumstances. Hugely dangerous to your mental health. It won't help you see the world as it is, but it will mess your mind up permanently.

I've never taken LSD myself & I'm not "anti Drug" in anywayI do smoke Cannabis

However I do know that LSD can seriously mess up your mind.
Look at people like Syd Barret!

I think people should be very careful with things like LSD & Ketamine.
That goes for mentaly healthy people, let alone those with mental health issues!

if LSD is so bad then why isn't everyone from the 60's brain dead? I would say one experience would be safer then taking ssri's, provided that it was in a controlled/closely monitored setting and that the user was mentally prepared

LSD stay's in your spine, that's why when you take it, sometimes later...even i thiink years you'll have a trip, and that's why it's not safe and the guy that made this in the chemical lab warned that it will cause death in overtaken doses. But it causes happiness for some people who just enjoy psychedillics [vary misspelled sorry] because they say it reveals the "realness" of things and slows things things down like seeing a bullett in slow motion. Defiently it's used for a trip alway's to see diffrent sides of reality, but the reason it causes this is because of increased serotonin in...mmmm some sector of the brain that's not the frountal lobe.

It's really not as bad as methamphetamine...
