I'm starting mirtazapine tonight. Anyone with any positive stories or experiences?

I thought you were the one with positive stories from taking! Didn't you say it helped you before lexapro?

How was ECT and what happened with your agomelatine trial?

Oh and btw Denmark is a beautiful country. Its nice to have all that water around you. Makes it seem so dry where I live.

I only trialled it for 2.5 weeks. I'd like to know what people who have been on it long term think about it. I only had 4 ect treatments. Didn't help any and I find the whole procedure quite tiring. The doctor cancelled my agomelatine and upped me up to 30 mg Abilify. The idiots here think I'm scizophrenic, damn nightmare. I've been in hospital for months now. Can't recommend it unless you are very stressed and busy and need time off to do nothing.

What are the reasons they think you are schizophrenic? Sounds like its time to check yourself out. Doing nothing is the worst thing you can do. It gives you too much time to think about whether the drug is helping and the treatment course.

If you wanna give remeron a longer try just lie and say you think its helping, even if you don't feel something. THey might give you a longer trial or increase the dosage. Seems like being honest with psychiatrists only ends in disaster sometimes.

I can't imagine 30mg abilify would help with anhedonia. It would probably make it worse.

Hi,

The big problem with mirtazapine is daytime sedation.

Well, weight gain of course.
But I can control my weight.

Now Wellbutrin has taken care of the sedation,
and I'm very pleased with my new combo.

Best regards,
X-ray

I've experienced before that Remeron seems more powerful than generic mirtazapine. Anyone with the same experience?

Could this feeling be caused by abilify? Were you taking abilify when you took it originally?

How does abilify feel by the way? Any improvement of anhedonia, cognitive problems?

I heard it starts working relatively quickly.

Hi,

I've been on Remeron,
but now I'm on the generic mirtazapine.

I can't tell any difference.

Best regards,
X-ray
