My pdoc knows the situation. I don't know if I can give up my pills. They are like my security. I will try though.

I am scared that if I give the meds to someone that I will never get them back. You are probably thinking that's a good thing except I like having them around ... they comfort me to know that I have a way out if needed.

Thanks. I was thinking of Zyprexa too. I might call my pdoc tomorrow and ask him to prescribe to me ASAP.

Thanks RJ. Those links you provided were very helpful. I was able to able to relax. Too bad I couldn't project them on my bedroom wall when it's time to sleep. :) I really appreciated them.

Yes, two friends. The second one didn't succeed though. They are part of an ED support group online where I have been a member for 10 years. I know these women well.

I feel the same things she did. I cut in the same places. I have an ED. There are too many similarities that it scares me. She was a beautiful friend.

What a lovely fragile spirit. TY for sharing that video. I'm so sorry that you lost that beautiful person from your life. She was too young. It was not her time. She lost hope.
Never give up hope Maxime. Weeks, months later, moods and feelings can be different. Your life can change. You may have to change docs to get what you need. But don't give up hope. Keep a sliver in your pocket.

You should try the zyprexa and not worry about weight gain. Thats what I do! I've gained a little weight but have stoped gaining, for quite some time.

I saw my pdoc today and decided to put me on Lithium. I am starting off at 300 mg and taking it from there. I really hope it helps with the depression and the mood swings.
Does anyone know how long it takes for Lithium to work?

Hi Maxime, i know you're in deep pain
in fact i think i am too, who can live with a manic permanent psychosis, tardive dyskinesia, and i miss a girl for 5 years now
im commited for 5 years because of her, i never raped or hurt her, injustice

Maxie fairly quickly depending on the symptoms and diagnosis. For someone with a severe manic episode could be longer than let's say someone coming off drugs or alchohol with underlying bipolar. This was my observation. Phillipa

I'm new to the board and don't really know anyone but I saw your post. I'm so sorry for your loss; it's hard to lose part of your foundation when you already feel you're on shaky ground.
I hope the lithium has begun to help. And you're *not* a burden to society at all - I'm not working, millions of people are in the same position. It sounds, though, like you're isolating and your only human contact is over the phone or on a monitor. If you're physically unable to leave the house please bear in mind that I have no way of knowing that - but if you *can* get out, go! You can volunteer somewhere until you find work; there *are* people who need you and it does help. Besides....would you advise a suicidal friend to sit in a room with only another suicidal person for company? Our thoughts can grow some strange warts if we never hear other ideas....
I hope things are better for you today.
December
