Maxime,
I hope these down days are just a temporary blip. Do you think perhaps that you are bored with not working? Or do you think it is the weather?

Still feeling very down and thinking about suicide a lot. I emailed my doctor to see if I could increase the Parnate to 100 mg. I was doing so well and I want that back. Of course it doesn't help that I am stressed about my job situation. In bipolar fashion I spent a lot of money on gifts etc. When will I learn.

Hang in there. Emailing your doctor definitely sounds like a step in the right direction. Feel free to babblemail me if you need a compassionate ear. I've been feeling really stressed out and overwhelmed about a lot of stuff too, including my job and money, and some big, life-changing decisions I need to make soon. The depression is making it very difficult to deal with it all, especially when just getting through the day is tough enough. There have been a few times when I've thought, "I don't feel so bad today," and then I wonder whether I have the strength to deal with the stuff I've been putting off, and I just fall apart again emotionally.

My doctor told me to go up to 100 mg of the Parnate to see if that would help. I pray it does.
Everyone, thank you for the great support you give me. It means a lot to me.

No, it's depression seeping in. All I want to do is sleep and I have no energy and I cry a lot. But my pdoc just increased my Parnate so hopefully I will feel better in a week or so.

Very true Scott. Unfortunaly my daily living is not good right now. I am jobbless, poor and my mum has been diagnosed with Alzheimers. I don't feel like I can cope.

It's hard to know what it is. Maybe it's the come down from the holidays which I enjoyed so much.

I should buy a heat lamp but they are so expensive. I know I suffer from SAD. Maybe I could get a second hand on ebay.

Well, at least you know it's doing something. Hopefully you'll experience an improvement in mood soon too. I've got my fingers crossed for you!

I am so hot! It's amazing what a little extra Parnate can do. I have a fever of 101. I hope it goes away soon. I'm not feeling very well.

Okay, maybe adding 20 mg at once of Parnate was not a good idea. I am having a hypertensive crisis. The back of my head is killing me and I have a fever of 102. I just took 100 mg of thorazine to bring everything down.
I didn't even eat anything I wasn't supposed to.
Parnate is such a weird med. I think I am going to go and lay down now.

I was hypertensive with Parnate too. Now granted, I was on 160mg before I got hypertensive, but maybe your body is more sensitive to it. It can be a nasty drug for that. I'm worried about your fever, too. Maybe you should call your doctor (I wasn't smart enough to do that).

Maxime, of course I'm concerned--temperature elevation can be part of a hypertensive crisis? Maybe I'm a wimp, but should you call a doctor, just to check in and let someone near you know?
Please write back when you can,
