Since no one answered I took it last night. No ill effects to report and I did sleep.

Hi Maxie:
I have taken melatonin at night for a long time and continued to take it with Parnate without even thinking about it. To my knowledge it has been OK, but who knows, it could be one of the things making me itch all over? I don't know. That's why I didn't answer immediately. I think it helps me sleep, though.
I'll be interested if you have any itching!!
I've started taking 50mg parnate/day now. No new withdrawal symptoms but still have the old ones.
I'm so happy you're feeling so well! You deserve it! xoxo

Thanks Gayle. I didn't have a reaction two nights in a row, so I think taking it is okay. I wanted to stop taking the antipsychotic I was taking for sleep because it was contributing to my weight gain.
