Does anyone have any experience of cutting Pristiq in half?? And what happens when you do?? How does the medication affect in half form versus taking it whole?? Taking 25 mg for GAD....

I doubt the pharmacist would really know. You might want to call the drug manufacturer. It really depends on the delivery system and how the acid environment of the stomach affects its absorption.

I should add that in a perfect world, the pharmacist would find the answer for you if he/she did not know. But since modern antidepressants are not thought of as dangerous, the pharmacist is liable to tell you the equivalent of "sure, whatever." If we were talking about digoxin or warfarin (two dangerous heart meds), they would have to give you an authoritative answer.
