I always thought I had ADHD-I (and was diagnosed with such). But some posters here suggested perhaps I'm bipolar instead. My doc thinks this is a possibility too.
Are there any bipolar drugs/mood stabilizers that help with concentration and inattentiveness?
(I have tried lamictal, btw. It seemed to have made me confused. Desipramine used to help w/ my attention, but now it just seems to make me agitated and anxious. The other usual ADD drugs don't do much for me or make me worse.)Thanks! :)

Keppra has been shown to improve cognition.

Good to know, Phidippus.I tried Keppra for treating bipolar depression. I don't recall it producing any cognitive side effects. Of course, if it had, I probably wouldn't remember it anyway. :-)

I tried flying solo with Keppra and ended up having a terrible mood episode (I have bipolar II). It doesn't seem efficacious at all for the depressive end of the bipolar spectrum.
