bear fan.....just replying to your post from above...re: does higher dose Effexor lessen sexual side effects? In my experience, and from all of the research and anecdotal reports, it seems "likely not.." to a "shot-in-the-dark..maybe..". Everybody is different, so there are no absolutes. You can't really know unless you try, but it is up to you if you want to go either route, of course.

jay , if i remember when i was on 225mg there was no difference sexually from 75 or 150mg

Interesting comments. I was wondering if the extra norepinephrine 'kick' would possibly increase libido?
