After a really mediocre 3rd round on Parnate (the prior 2 rounds went much better), I am considering giving Nardil a second try. My first try of Nardil resulted in pretty serious weight gain, but, at least for the first couple of months on the drug, gave me some of the absolute happiest, depression-free days of my life.
If you've been on Nardil and stopped taking it, what were the reasons? This will really help me assess (hope I spelled that one right ;-)) if I should give it another shot.
Thank YOU!!!

> Thank YOU!!!Hi,
I've quit Nardil several times over the past 12 years because of the side effects. The worst for me are weight gain, delayed orgasm, and insomnia. Nardil + clonazepam is the only combination that has worked for my atypical depression and social anxiety out of 45+ different combinations. I just started Nardil again a couple of weeks ago after several months off. I keep thinking I can make it without the medication, but I guess not. I may be a lifer on this drug. When the depression returned this time, it has been exceptionally harsh. I'm hoping for a good remission within a few more weeks. Nardil has always worked for me in the past. Good luck.
