Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but it is about meds even though it is not a psych med but an anti-fungal.
I've read miconazole nitrate (Monistat) put on scalp makes hair grow faster and just grow more.
Does anyone know whether or not there could be med interactions with Celexa, Prozac, Risperdal and propranolol?
I only plan on putting the miconazole nitrate on my head twice a week, but I plan on doing it for a few months.
I don't think a lot of it would be absorbed into the bloodstream from the scalp. Surely more would be absorbed in the vagina so it should be safe to use right?
I doubt there is much research into its use on the scalp.
