Alright this is the third time i posted. i thank you for all your tips. I suffer from depression high anxiety and ssri anorgasma. Hesitant to try remeron because of weight gain. Are their any tricyclics that do not cause anorgasma? And does buspar have any antidepressant effect as a monotherapy?

Hi,
the more noradrenegeric tcas (like nortriptyline, desipramine) that are weaker serotonine reuptake inhibitors cause much less (if any) sexual dysfunction. Also pure noradrenegic drugs like reboxetine wouldn't cause SD and parnate a MAOI is also known to cause SD to a lesser extent as SSRIs.
I don't know about buspar, as I'm not a big fan of it, so can't say anything positive about it (took it in combination with an ssri)
Good luck to you!

Wellbutrin doesn't cause sexual disfunction.

I take wellbutrin with pristiq to counter the sexual side effects. I'm not sure whether is works or not but 200mgs of viagra do help, a lot. I would try viagra before making any other changes if your current med regime is working.
