Hi,
I am into week three of ago and I am having experiencing great results with this drug. I feel good, normal, great energy level, I do not feel flattened out at all,
it is easy to fall asleep although I wake up once or twice during the night and am oddly awake.
I am on 25 mg. after stopping Lexapro 3 weeks a go.
This drug is worth trying. I think we are made for each other.

I brought the lexapro down to 5 mg. before I started the ago, then I just quit. I had some discontinuation syndrome, but I knew it was coming. At this point that is pretty much over. My anxiety seems much better on the ago than the Lexapro. I do think SSRI's tend to make me more anxious. I have always had some anxiety and take a small amount of of benzo in the afternoon.
Anyway,
good luck.

SSRI's have always made me more anxious so your're saying that ago doesn't do this? I also have always taken benzos with an ad and it doesn't stop the anxiety. Great luck with the ago and please keep us updated. Love Phillipa

Hi Phillipa,
My anxiety is better on the ago. Having said that my additude is we'll see as you know how easily things can change.
I would say the anxiety is less severe and I feel more grounded. I will keep you posted but I am feeling good about where I am today.
This is the end of the thread.
