Why Don't More People Try Marplan?

Posted by bulldog2 on September 6, 2009, at 18:34:31

I believe marplan is in the same family as nardil is. Also the side effects and weight gain appear to be much milder. If you search some of the old posts the report appear to be to much fairly positive.Because it is in the same family as nardil is you would get effects closer to nardil than parnate.

Well prob because first as you know its very difficult for the average person to get their doc to use maois....so to ask for Marplan, one that needs special hoop jumping on the docs part to get, well thats like asking a doc to give you gold.

My old doc luckly enough did it for me,and i can tell you it was not a easy drug to obtain,i dont remember how i did, just that it was not as potent as nardil or parnate two ive also tried.

Not really, your weak ones are your reversable ones like molcimide.Marplan was a heavy hitter as nardil and parnate,it just faded in fact i believe it was discontinued then brought back.

Parnate is considered the nuc bomb of all anti deprassants so it is the most potent acting.

The only med id compare to parnate in terms of hard hitting would be effexor.
