What dose are you taking? I take 50mg at night for sleep and it does make me retain water. I hate that. I haven't been able to find a way around it. All the other anti-psychotics (risperdal, abilify, etc.) make me swell also.

Seriously try B6. I had an ob-gyn who suggested it to this day I take it twice a day. It seems to work for any type of fluid retention. Phillipa

I always thought that you couldn't take a B vitamin by itself. That you need to take a B-complex vitamin to make it work. Is that true?

One needs all the B vitamins complex for all the B's but in addition the B6 does work for especially perimenopausal water retention. It's worth a shot. The other one that was given me was diazide a true diuretic. Phillipa
