I am paranoid about getting the flu! I am going on a plane in 2 weeks and have a question:
I am taking Tegretol, does it lower my immune system?

I don't know about the immune with the tegretol but do be careful in the plane the air is notorious for spreading colds and stuff. I'm sure you'll be fine. I haven't been in a plane in over l5 years. Wow. Love Phillipa ps hope it's for pleasure

I've never heard of tegretol lowering one's immune system. I didn't have any trouble when I was on it and on the trileptal.
It's very easy to catch a cold on a plane. I would start taking vitamin C now in preparation.
