Physical Ailments

In response to Phillipa's query about what type of physical complaints/symptoms I experience with my condition and the treatments used for it...

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Phillipa,

Really the list would be very, very long for my physical ailments. I get problems from both the meds and now from my disease.

It mainly involves aches in my body and joint pain - mostly fingers, hands and forearms. I also get muscle and back aches for no apparent reason.

The biggest problem is probably the muscle tension and pressure that builds over time from chronic exposure to SSRIs. It's a very disconcerting reaction after any type of physical exertion. I also get this after exposure to hot temps, such as a warm shower.

The last major 'ailment' I can think of is a cardio-respiratory type syndrome where I experience a significant weakness in my chest and a constricted feeling when I breathe.

I have had comprehensive physical screenings including a 24 hr heart monitor test and not a single significant diagnosable physical problem has ever been found.

Bob only when on SSRI's? Could it be fibromyalgia? Just spitting out thoughts. And seriously thanks for posting this you know this could help others as others also have these problems. I know I have back pain no reason age I assumed and headaches, and tiredness. Thanks again hope others chime in with real bona fide reasons and thoughts. Love Phillipa
