Its been a long month off AD's. I was still on ritalin (which I think kept the bottom from really falling out).
Anyhow, the doctor gave the go ahead for notriptyline. I got a script today. He wants me to go up to 125mg then get a blood level.
Hope it works. I will try to keep in touch. I may not start till monday night as I have an interview monday and want to keep things consistent till then.
The ones I got are in 25mg's. I hope thats not too big a jump.

Good luck. Nortrip worked very well for me and the s/e wasn't too bad. I also started out with 25mg, and 75mg was the right maintenance dose for me.

> LinkadgeGood Luck. Have you ever thought of low dose parnate with nortriptyline? Seems like they may be synergistic. I had a response to nortriptyline at 50 mg. My doc raised me at a rate of 10 mg a week. He never did a blood test which I think was a msitake since there is a therapuetic window.

I know it's only been a few days. I am curious to see how you do starting out on Nortriptyline.
