Thanks for the link. I have always thought that my problem is due to a hormonal imbalance but doctors don't want to hear it. I am getting my hormones checked as I believe I'm going through perimenopause.

ALot of research says the reason we age the way we do, cell death is due to hormonal imbalances. IT makes sense. Without the right levels of hormonal the body has to fight to maintain balance and sometimes I think it loses the battle.

I hate to admit it but the new thyroid med the endocrinologist gave me seems to be helping me feel better. I need to go Friday or Monday for new TSH levels but I do actually feel better since the switch. Go figure. i thought he was kinda of pompus but maybe he is right. I hate that.

Yes I would and have. I took Armour for more than a year I take overs like progestrone and have taken it in bio form for two years it works great. Last 6 weeks not on armour but armour did help bring my tab levels to normal but with hashimotos I will be on thyroid meds from now on

Levoxyl, which is a brand name synthetic. I was reluctant to switch and I have plenty of armour to augment if I need to.
I take my blood work today or Monday so I will find out if the synthetic has kept my TSH low. I do feel better.
The endo said that although my TSH was low and the armour helped that, my T4 was too high. Not sure why then I would take a medication that is only t4 but in any case it is working I think. My labs Monday will confirm this or not.
take care and I hope I answered your questions.
