I was wondering has anyone had any experience with coca-tea?Fot those that don't a small amount know coca leaves were used in the soda coca-cola when it originally came out.--I was wondering after reading about coca tea if it can be helpful for depression or anxiety.--Please note I am NOT talking about any type of recreational drug use.Coca tea as far as I know is legal in many countries including the US.In addition I read it's widely used in Peru by many people--one of its benefits is a feeling of well-being.What do you think about coca-tea?

Odon wonder if people were depressed when coke had the real coco leaf in it? Gee that would make a good study. Don't the peruvians still chew on the leaves when collecting them? Phillipa

Yes they do and they make coca tea. Friends brought some back for me. It had no descernable effect whatsoever. I don't think any coca product is an AD. It does enhance energy but I think it's downsides far outweight any benefit.

It's still used, according to a lot of sources by a de-cocaining process by the only allowed importer of food grade coca which is Stepan in Maywood, New Jersey.
Its "sanitized" and sent to Coca Cola.

Imagine working people like us (on our drugs) to death for 200 years in the silver mines.
It wouldn't be worth it.
You'd replace your labour force and reorganise their drugs.
