Jeroen.
Dump the Abilify, keep the Invega, and add Seroquel.
Then, wait a few months.

I see.

I think ADDING the Seroquel to the Invega is a great idea. That's what I have been lobbying for you to do for a long time. In the past, I had suggested Risperdal, but Invega - which is the major active metabolite of Risperdal - might be even better.
Good luck!

Sorry, but one more time...
Seroquel + Tricyclic
Don't try to figure it out or second guess it or shrug it off because it might not make sense on the surface. Just know that for people who fit your description of history and symptoms, it has worked. Enuf said.

Why do you think abilify is helping?
When you started the invega, you sounded like you were talking more clear and longer sentences.
What does the doctor say your diagnosis is?
Do you think adding an anti-depressant would help? Something like remeron might be calming. Not sure if that is a tricyclic.
Have you tried perphenazine? I find it helpfull. Its not quite like zyprexa, but calming and very powerfull. It does not have weight gain!

I guess another option would be clozapine, but as it's related to olanzapine you may experience some problems with it. Weight gain is very problematic too.
