I have been on a combination of 200mg modafinil and 6mg clonazepam for almost 1.5 years and have been doing really really well, excellent actually. It's for sleep problems OSA, RLS and depression. Over the course of the last 2 months things have started to deteriorate rapidly again. With depression, intrusive racing thoughts and insomnia coming back again. Has anyone got any ideas on what I could try adding to the mix? Oh and for the record I have never suffered from depression with clonazepam. I have been on and off it a few times over the years, will no ill effects. Cheers C.

I forgot to mention, no SSRI, SNRI's, TCA's or mood stabilizers, they have always made me worse. Sorry for that lack of vital information. C

thanks zyprexa, I also forgot to say all AP's are out too. Zyprexa was a nightmare for me, as was seroquel, geodon, etc. I have tried a lot of psych meds over the years but thankyou for your input.

She wants me to go back to a pdoc for a med evaluation, which is fair enough. Since I haven't been to a pdoc in over a year it's going to take 1-3 months for me to get back into the private system again.
I will never use the free mental health service in my area again, they are completely irresponsible. They FORCED me to take seroquel before I went to WORK, where I have to drive other people around all day. They come over in the morning and watch you take it, and if you don't the put you in a psych ward. My body can't tolerate AP's and they knew that, so I'm stuck in limbo for now.
