for a 15 mg tablet of buspirone the dividose means that the tablet is scored on both sides to be more easily split into smaller doses.
i.e. the 15 mg tablet is scored in half on one side and in thirds on the other side. that way it could be split into two 7.5 mg pieces OR into three 5 mg pieces. IOW a 15 mg tablet could be taken whole, in half at a 7.5 mg dose, or in thirds at 5 mg per piece dose.

Dividose tablets are heavily scored to make dividing them into smaller doses easy and accurate.
From the monograph: "The 15-mg and 30-mg (Buspar) tablets are provided in the DIVIDOSE® tablet design. These tablets are scored so they can be either bisected or trisected. Thus, a single 15-mg tablet can provide the following doses: 15 mg (entire tablet), 10 mg (two thirds of a tablet), 7.5 mg (one half of a tablet), or 5 mg (one third of a tablet). A single 30-mg tablet can provide the following doses: 30 mg (entire tablet), 20 mg (two thirds of a tablet), 15 mg (one half of a tablet), or 10 mg (one third of a tablet)."
