The suffix -kine indicates movement (activation, in this context), and the target of that activation is the glutamatergic AMPA (alpha-amino-3-hydroxyl-5-methyl-4-isoxazole-propionate) receptor.
There have probably been many posts on these boards about the various -racetams, particularly piracetam and aniracetam. I'm sure a quick search will pull those up. There are actually well over a dozen -racetams. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racetam

i find aniracetam a bit helpful, too expensive to try consistently enough, i probably should use it moer. also it is unreally hydrophobic so i sort of dislike trying to consume it, although thats a bad reason to not take a drug
i think somone at imminst bought a kilo of one of those research chem ampakines, they might still be selling bits of it off

glutamatergic AMPA
Yeah-that's what i want to experiment with -somthing that works with that, not that I know what 'that' is...just something that works different than Adderall/Ritalin

yeah, well i don't have the $$ to go out and experiment w/everything. I have supplements on my shelves - Rhodiola, some kind of brain enhancement mixture, evening primrose oil. etc. etc. etc. etc.

I liked rhodiola (and deprenyl and Hydergine) way more than piracetam or aniracetam.
Aniracetam made me feel mentally clearer. I found though I didn't much like it.

But rhodiola made sleep worse.
This is the end of the thread.
