I Have done heaps of Amphetamines on Nardil before, and went to hospitall quite a few times, Now my BP is permantly high, I have tried mmmm not much I can think of, coffee sems ok, can you please recommend some more?
Red Bull etc is out of the question.

Provigil is an option.

Yeah I take No-Doze occasionaly.
You dont know of any list of all the stimulating substances like Taurine Gurana, and Ginseng do ya, I will google it & try and make us up a nice stimulating MAOI friendly cocktail.
Here is a god list.
But I guess these things are pale in comparison to Amphetamine, Tyramine dosn't even noticibly rais my vitals.
Huh I just drank a red bull and 20 minutes after finishing it my BP was 130 / 70 74BPM... Exactly what it was before I darank it.

I noticed today a fairly decent effect from 5mg ritalin but not like i did last year when i was taking parnate 10mg (after lowering from 40,30,20) but then stopped taking due to unbarable insomnia.
i been now back on 10mg parnate for maybe 4 weeks and 20mg almost 2 weeks. Doc suggests we raise the dose again soon.
Usually every 3 days I try a little ritalin to see if it will work often it seems to do very very little unlike when I was on Paxil. But today the effect was a bit stronger.

Remember me? I remember we kept in touch for a little bit, and you were having trouble with insomnia and a couple other things, sorry I don't recall. My Melatonin idea worked for 1 or 2 nights I think...sorry about that, haha. Never know!
So you are on Parnate for 10mg, then 20mg....may I ask why so low?

hi. i'm up to 25mg parnate + 5mg ritalin (4 times a day), and some valium, and been trying risperidone 0.5-0.75mg and other times tried seroquel 25-50mg. both seemed to work well initially (except foggy mind, daytime sedation on seroquel) but would wear off quickly and it was around the time of raising from 20mg parnate to 25mg. the parnate increase gave substantial increase in mood very quickly but stronger fierce insomnia crept in.
today it has been 2 days with zero sleep.
my dose has been considered low due to often sensitivity of meds. i dont weight a lot and have small frame. i even lost 17 pounds on this parnate + insomnia nonsense.
starting to really rethink what on earth to do.
higher dose may be more benificial for mood/drive etc but this insomnia is unbelievable. never in my life has it been this bad yet the stimulation from parnate keeps me going somehow and my mind would sometimes just flow during the night in bed despite a somewhat dreadful feeling expecailly today.
is benadryl contradicted with parnate? does higher parnate dose trully over time lead to less insomnia. so many people with different theories. i'm strongly considering dropping down to 20mg. i've even tried a glass of wine + valium to attempt drowiness to make me sleep. didn't work one darn bit.

Hi Adam,
I would not lie to you. The higher you go the lower the side effects. You will continue to have a couple few days of insomnia when you increase dose. Ask Doc for strong sleep med if you have to. Your doses IMHO are way to low. I weight 125lbs. and take 80mg Parnate, and 60mg Ritalin. The thing is, this dose gives you such energy during the day, your ready to crash as soon as your head hits the pillow. If you try to do this 5mg at a time, you will torture youself. Again, IMHO. Get to a therapeutic dose, stay there, and treat your insomnia aggressively. As in a prescription if needed. It works!!
