Hi GMan,

This one should reallytouch your heart..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9NkGdZ-N2E

I was really happy to find a bunch of talented college kids turned my favorite Lifehouse song into such a powerful play. It grows on you. If you dont' like it at first, watch it a few times in a row - and I guarantee it will touch your heart like it touched mine.

:)

I once asked my father: would anyone care if I committed suicide? He said: Nobody would shed a single TEAR!

Gman,

First-you are not a *product* of your parents

Second-What do YOU want out of life?

We are ALL unique, special creations; we all contribute to the universal mind. Yes, everyone from the bank teller, to the garbage man, to the CEO - all contribute to the aggregate humanity

Gman,

Do you think your parents robbed you of your dignity? If so, you can get it back.

Sometimes we dwell on living in our own prisons rather than trying to escape.

By the way, I got my test results yesterday from my Adrenal Stress INdex. Here it is:

Cortisol = Low
DHEA = high
Testosterone = Low
Dihydrotestosterone = High

My doctor wanted to give me licorice to treat the condition, but I've taken Licorice before and its awful - it feels like I drank 20 red bulls- heart palpitations, nervousness, etc.

What do yous think?

Hey GMan,

I don't have the answers to your questions, but I just wanted to suggest creating a seperate post for advice. Hopefully Bleauberry and some of the others familar with this topic will respond.

If I was in your shoes - I would not take the licorice, but instead, take the test results to an endochronologist for a second opinion.

Maybe the licorice would be helpful in small doses taken on a regular or short-term basis, and I am very confident about herbal or alternative treatments, but with your reaction - I don't see why you should take it.

Hopefully someone will come along with better knowledge, but until then, take good care of yourself!!

I almost agree except I haven't taken the mental energy to figure out what that song signifies...all I know it's along the lines of one of those songs that makes me want to drive over 100 mph then abruptly stop to pull over to have sex on the side of the road..lol..don't know if I want to know the meaning...some things are better left unsaid...sorry, couldn't help but stating my mind at the moment..decompressing here.

Do u agree:

The only way a boy can ever become a man is to be beaten up by a gang of older bullies - the idea being that eventually the boy's tolerance gives in and he is FORCED to overcome his weakness and fight back.

Does that sound right to yous?

Dear everybody,

I must tell you that my question about me being beaten up by bullies was wrong. I didn't mean to come across so selfish and narcissistic. I AM SO SORRY!

Please, I do not want to alienate myself from this forum with one stupid remark that I made.

Please forgive me. Thank you.

Hi G-Mann,

I think we all do this, if no-one replies we think we said something wrong. You didn't say a thing wrong! In fact, I just saw it as somthing maybe your father or brother told you and you want opinions. Please don't go get beat up by bullies!!! If you want some action join one of those early morning bootcamps!! That'll toughen anyone up (just the simple fact of getting up that early!!!)

Getting to the gym tho and getting in really excellent shape I have to say is empowering . Its not just about looks (that helps tho!) My nephew and my son both work at the gym I belong to and I have to say they are pretty buff and it gives them confidence (too much). Girls always notice that, if that helps. Don't get beat up. wrong thinking where ever it came from.

No reason, at all, for any apology. You're just moving up the threads where people stop responding. Start a new one at the bottom!

Hi again G-mann,

Two things came to mind after my first post:

First,

I was the first to reply to your post, and my response was lame as this has happened before to me (first there) and Admin said to get in touch with them which I was trying to do. Luckily Garnet answered right after me. I apologize I didn't show more empathy at the time.

Second,

sometimes as a thread gets "old" they don't show all replies anymore. So when looking at an older thread, click on whole thread or something like that (its at the top) you may have posts you can't see.

So how are you by the way? Are you better? That was quite a long thread, I hope it was helpful to you. What are you doing for yourself so you don't feel so bad again? I'm sorry, I haven't read the thread for a while. What was done to correct the problems in those tests results? (I don't know what they mean!!!)

Hope to hear from you ;-)

~Jade

Dear JadeKelly,

God bless you! I'm trying to hang in there, but its really hard when I really have no friends, and my parents treat me like the family scapegoat (blaming me for every problem instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes).

My alternative doc said my cortisol is low, he tried me on Licorice which caused some nasty side effects. So now he wants to try IsoCort. I really hope it helps my condition!
