I am having good success with the med/supplement regime I have been taking awhile, but it has really taken a hit on the libido. Typical SSRI type problems. Is it possible to take a high dose ( 2-3 tablets at once) of Tianeptine or take it for a few days to get a break from this effect? Or would you have to take it for awhile?
I read Tianeptine dramtically reduces serotonin and NA pretty quickly and increases DA. This seems like it would be pro -sexual. Thanks for help

yes its possible, but theres no evidence it works. its possible you'd lose AD effect at least while you take it. if you try it let us know how well it works.

Though it seems like it might suppress the AD effect, I think in practice Tianeptine + SSRI have worked well together in some patients--though I can't remember anything specific.
However, I think Tianeptine is more sex-neutral than pro-sex. Its advantage is (quite reliably, I believe) in having no negative effects, rather than being a positive (just my impression).
Don't know whether Tianeptine's quick serotonin-reducing effect would work to counteract the SSRI side-effects. I'm a little skeptical, but maybe it's worth a try. I think you may be in uncharted territory.
