Zyprexa, I have followed your posts for some time now and enjoy them. Can you help me with a few questions? ....
What do you take zyprexa for?
What is your dosage?
What time of day to you take it?
What other meds and doses do you take, if any?The med zyprexa was a good friend of mine for many years, so I'm always curious about anyone who does well with it.

although i'm not Zyprexa, i've been following his posts too mostly because its nice to see someone else that has great success on zyprexa as well.
it seems to be the only thing that can really help me when i'm Super depressed. and it helps quite quickly usually i can feel it within 24/48 hours.
so i'll answer a couple of your questions too if you're interested.i have bipolar, but it seems that i mostly take the zyprexa to relieve SEVERE depression symptoms.
i have taken both 5 and 10mg
always at night
-best combination was wellbutrinXL and zyprexa. but have taken it with Many other combinations. as of most recent: pristiq, adderall, xanax and zyprexa.
before that ritalin, xanax, pristiq zyprexa; lexapro, topomax, ritalin, xanax, zyprexa;
um others include: zoloft, took symbyax at one time but the prozac part was NOT good for me., trazadone, buproprion and/or budeprion, propanolol, strattera
none of those worked well (they went ok with zyprexa) but didn't help me enough.so the zyprexa can always seem to bring me out of the "depths" but depending on the severity it can't always quite make me great functioning on its own.

I'm taking: Zyprexa 15mg, sertraline 150mg, bupropion sr 200mg, perphenazine 36mg, cogentin 0.5mg.
I have schitzoaffective disorder. I take the zyprexa at 10 pm.
Do you still take zyprexa? If not, why?
You know its funny. It seems, lately, that the zyprexa does not always work or is weak. Its like the dose is changing every day. I must be crazy to think some one is playing with my pills.

I was origionaly going to switch to the perphenazine. I started coming off the zyprexa, but didn't like it. So I stayed on them both. Later I wanted to come off the perphenazine but my doctor wanted me on both.

Not working now. The abilify f'ed me up and I lost my job. Back on zyprexa now and looking for a job.
