Hi folks:

Well, my endo appointment is on Dec 2, but my fam doctor got the results of the tests she ordered for me last week. If any remember, I have almost bottomed out to very little testosterone. Well, new test results show still little testosterone amount (he didn't say about estrogen..or whatever the tech term is) and another thing that has almost *completely* stopped working, is my Folicle Stimulating Hormone. My prolactin is fine, as are a few others I can't recall. So, the Folicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), how do I get it running again?! I go for an MRI within the next month. I hope nothing 'funky' shows up there.

I've read a bit about Growth Hormone, and two amino acids used to get the whole Pituitary gland working well again, but I am just a junior when it comes to this knowledge.

If anyone knows anything, can you please help answer some of this for me? I mean, the only medical treatment I have read for low FSH in women is injected supplementary FSH! Am I f*ck*d?
Haha..sorry..just the...reality...and what about having kids? Help help...Please please..

Yes I maybe just could take Androgel supps, but I am afraid of the risk of cancer (very real) and the risks to the liver (very real). But, Androgel doesn't even seem to do MUCH!

Thank you a million times over...

Jay

Jay FSH is follical stimulating hormone and only know it as it pertains to women as it's a way to tell if they are menopausal as 50 or above is menopausal. I'd get a good endo And really do your research don't end up like me with one who can't even comment as it's not civil. Love Phillipa

Jay here's just one site. Seems type ll Diabetes can have an impact on all hormones thyroid wasn't mentioned pituitary, FSH, and testosterone were. I'll let your decide. I wonder if any of my nursing articles mention it? will look later. Love Phillipa/ Jan sounds like it's very treatable.
