I'm new here, too. I also have a brain injury due to a car accident 3 years ago, and have depression because of it. I am now on 7.5 mg of Lexapro a day. I also take 5 mg of Ritalin twice a day to help with memory problems and concentration.

My pdoc increase my Lexapro a few months ago, and the dizziness and spaciness has increased. I am wondering if the two medications are canceling each other out. I am also suffering from anorgasmia with is gotten worse from the increase.

I have noticed your post is older, but I wonder what may have worked for you in the meantime! I hope you are doing better!

Sometimes adding Wellbutrin can decrease the sexual side effects from Lexapro. Wellbutrin also helps with concentration.

Thanks for the welcome, Phillipa! I hope to gain some insight here.

Dealing with this injury is more than I ever expected. I thought it would have been over by now.

Thanks for the suggestion, azalea. I actually think the Lexapro is not working for me, anyway. I will suggest it when I see my pdoc on Monday.

You mentioned you have a brain injury from a car accident. This might be a reason NOT to take Wellbutrin, especially if the brain injury has lowered your seizure threshold. Definitely something to discuss with your pdoc.

Somehow, I remember hearing that form one of my docs. Unfortunately, I don't remember much! ;-)

I am due for a reassessment on Monday, so I'm trying to gather as much info as I can. Thanks for the input!
