My doc. prescribed 30 more mg for me to take with the 60mg dose.(which I was told was the max. dose)
Is this going to help me?
He also wasn't sure if I am truly getting worse, or if my depression is going through phases. I guess he said I still have depression, even if the drugs are helping, I still can feel worse on some days than others. He said it is to early to know for sure, but he increased my dosage anyway. I do feel better, only after 3 days, but I am sure that is the placebo effect. Anyone know anything about this or have experience ?

How long have you been taking the 60mg dose?
Some studies have used 120mg Cymbalta per day, though with increased side effects.> My doc. prescribed 30 more mg for me to take with the 60mg dose.(which I was told was the max. dose)

Three years ago a pdoc here prescribed me 120mg of cymbalta but I couldn't handle it. He got mad when I said thought the max from the company is 60mg but think it's now up to 120mg. Google will yield that info. Phillipa

Hey lemona.
I took 60mg, but only with partial effects, then I was on 90 for about 4 mos, then some breakthrough depression. Then I was on 120mg for about? I dunno? 4 mos? Getting off of it was really really terrible though. When the time comes to lower your dose, take it slow and easy!I hope that you feel a little better each day
