Well, after a month of my pdoc/T being on vacation and two months of being on 0.5mg Risperal, 40mg Celexa and 40mg Prozac, I'm back to 0.75mg Risperdal plus the other two.
Dunno what happened. Got anxious, quit my job as new supervisor.
We'll try to decrease again sometime.

Deneb, I wish that medication adjustments were in a straight line. Taper off or taper up. But more often than not they are meandering pathways, just as our levels of stress and anxiety during our lives are.
I'm glad that your medication is being adjusted to reflect the increased stress you are under - that's why we keep going back to our doctors :-)Hope you're feeling more comfortable at work.

Honestly, don't worry about the decrease in meds. Just work with the level of meds that make you feel better. I have taken up to 6 meds in my past 15 years or so, at a time, and still do, and it has brought me the **most** relief. I feel so much better. My thinking, my anger, the deep depression, constant anxiety, it's all been lightened very much thanks to this combo of meds. Now every day is not perfect, far from it. But on those bad days instead of feeling like I am carrying 1000 pounds, it's more like 50 pounds, or enough I can just barely handle. Then I take some Xanax, and it usually all goes away.
So, that is just IMHO...my experience. Risperdal was one of my 'lifesaving' meds also. I am on 1mg a day, and if I have a REALLY bad day, can go up to 2-3 mg's, and all the craziness just slows down and I feel better, and can handle life better.
Stay with your meds...do some adjustments...maybe add in another one if you feel the need to. Take good care..
Jay:)
