Was given samples of Pexeva and took low dose as intructed to by pdoc with luvox 50mg and then found out that paxil is cheaper mediciare no charge so had it switched. So what's the difference thought they were the same and how much of each ad is okay combined til dangerous? Thanks Phillipa

Did some research, and found that the inactive ingredient is different, so there may be a change in metabolism of the newer version the pexeva. They say that one (of course which one, I don't know) may have less side effects because of the inactive ingredient. I don't know about combining though.
Dang, and I thought it was some kind of new and improved version of paxil. I wish that drug still worked for me. I spent many years on it with great success. :(

Can you post what you googled to get the info on pexeva and paxil? Is it that it not longer causes side effects or weight gain. Would be so appreciative if you could provide the info. Thanks Phillipa
