Hello!
I take zoloft (200mg a day) each morning. I have 200mg left but don't see my doc for a refill until Thursday night.
Should I take 200 today and skip tomorrow
or
Take 100 today and 100 tomorrow
or
Does it really matter :-)Thanks so much.

Call your pharmacy. A pharmacist can legally dispense small amounts of medication to tide you over until your next doctor's visit. I'm sure that your pharmacist would have no problem at all giving you a tablet.

I should have mentioned that the above statement pertains to pharmacists in the United States. I don't know about any other countries, although it would still be a good idea to give the pharmacy a call anyway. Even if the pharmacist can't dispense the medication, at least s/he would know best how to take your remaining tablet.

That's true also could you just call the pdocs office and ask them to call and refill the prescription or are you planning a change? Phillipa

The biggest issue is they're notoriously bad at getting meds called in. I've called them and they claim they'll call in a refill today. We'll see!
Thanks!
