weight gain/loss with seroquel and clozapine

Hi,

I have gained over 100 lbs while being treated
with clozapine.

A psychiatrist I saw recently said there is evidence that adding seroquel to clozapine will
reverse the clopzapine induced metabolic syndrome and lower my glycemic index.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

That is two antipsychotics and no never heard of this. Hope someone who knows answers your question. Phillipa
